103rd Annual Burns Night

Winnipeg Robert Burns Club

Founded in 1907, the Winnipeg Robert Burns Club has held a "Burns Supper" on an annual basis since the inaugural event in 1908. Now in its second century, the Club continues the history of semi-formal, convivial occasions in the traditional Burns Supper format.

Place: The Marlborough Hotel, 331 Smith Street. Parking in the parkade opposite the hotel.  

Time: Cocktails at 6:00pm Supper at 7:00pm. Cash Bar.  

Tickets: $37.50 pp. (tickets are also draw tickets for the door prize)  

Door Prize: A draw will be made for a bottle of a high-end single malt whisky.  

Entertainment: The Braemar Scottish Country group will be entertaining the guests with a special program based on Robert Burns poems & song.  Kirby McRae will be our piper for the evening.  The Haggis will be well addressed by Fredrick Carstead  

Immortal Memory: The Right Honourable Bill Blakie, member of the Manitoba Provincial Parliament will propose the Toast to The Immortal Memory.

Dress will range from formal Highland wear, to business, to informal.  

As one of some 350 Clubs worldwide affiliated with the Robert Burns World Federation Ltd.  The Winnipeg Robert Burns Club, (which is the oldest continuously existing Burns Club outside of the United Kingdom) was founded in 1907.
